Getafe coach Jose Bordalas has reaffirmed hopes of keeping hold of Mason Greenwood.

The Manchester United loanee struck twice in their win against Almeria on Saturday.

Bordalas told Marca: "He is calm, he is happy, he is treated very well. The boy has had exemplary behaviour to this day and his team-mates help him.

"I'm sure the chants affect him. You know my opinion, I'm against any insult, no matter who the player is. I cannot say anything more."

On Greenwood's future, the Getafe boss added: "We haven't talked yet, he's in the same situation as the other loanees and it is important to finish as well as possible.

"We have to finish with a good image and good feelings for them and the club.

"When everything is defined it will be time to get down to work see whether Mason will be able to stay another year or not. It will depend on his club and the decision he makes."

Greenwood also said: "I feel very happy right now and I'm happy my goals contributed to the win today.

"I'm just happy for the team, there's been a lot of hard work going into the training sessions and stuff so to get this win is a good feeling for us.

"I feel like I've had a good season here so far and I just want to finish as strong as possible and get as many wins as possible to climb higher up the table."
